Community Liaison Group (CLG)

Three CLGs have been set up as a channel for the communication with the local community, namely Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong University and Kennedy Town. The progress and the construction impact of the WIL will be presented regularly in CLG. Membership of CLG includes local district council members, representatives from government departments such as Home Affairs Department, Highways Department, Transport Department, Lands Department and Environmental Protection Department. CLG meetings will be held quarterly, and the public is welcomed to join.

Our Impressions of Western District

The Corporation will join hands with the District Council, art associations and local community groups to organize a series of workshops and tours for the youth to give them a deeper understanding of the local culture and heritage. The youth will be given opportunities to produce different art pieces to decorate the lift lobbies of the stations.
