COMMUNITY INITIATIVES
In addition to the Coffee Evenings and Liaison Train noted in regard to
Passenger Surveys, MTR undertakes regular radio phone-in programs, arranges
visits and meets regularly with representatives from the Legislative Council,
local politicians and interested parties. For example, we supported the
Community chest Green Day Event by sponsoring nearly 30,000 free tickets.
We also supported non-charitable organizations' activities by providing
free poster spaces at stations.
