Details of discount offer:

  1. The interchange discount only applies to designated Octopus card. Passengers must use the same Octopus card for the connecting journeys to enjoy the discount.
  2. After exiting the designated MTR stations, interchange with the above transportations within 1 hour with the rail fare transaction record on the Octopus card and the fare discount will apply to the fare of the above transportations; or after taking the above transportations, interchange at the designated stations within 1 hour and the fare discount will automatically apply to the MTR fare. If the MTR fare is lower than the interchange discount offered, fare discount will be equal to the MTR fare.
  3. The discount will be void if passengers use the same Octopus card to take transport services other than the designated public transport service within the time limit.
  4. The interchange discount is applicable to paid journeys only. Unless otherwise specified, passengers using "Sheung Shui – East Tsim Sha Tsui Monthly Pass", "Tuen Mun - Nam Cheong Monthly Pass" and "Tuen Mun – Hung Hom Monthly Pass" (including those who have paid the First Class Premium) on designated stations are not eligible to enjoy the discount. However, discount is applicable when passengers using the above-mentioned Passes travel beyond their Pass' designated stations.
  5. Passengers must maintain a positive balance in their Octopus cards in order to enjoy the offer.
  6. Passengers who have just used their Octopus cards for the Airport Express "Free MTR Connections" are not eligible for the interchange discount.
  7. Passengers can only enjoy the offer with the highest discount if there is more than one promotion being offered by the MTR at the same time.
  8. Passengers can check with the respective transport operator for the operation hours and journey fares of the designated transportations.
  9. The interchange discount is a commercial agreement between the respective transport operators and MTR, which shall be responsible for their own services.
  10. MTR Corporation Limited, New Lantao Bus Company and Green Minibus Companies reserve the right to alter or terminate the discount offer at any time without prior notice.
  11. MTR Corporation Limited reserves the right to make the final decision in the event of any dispute.
