MTR cares about every passenger's safety. Apart from posting notices at MTR stations, messages are regularly broadcast to remind them about the gap between the train and the platform when they board and alight from a train. To further reinforce this message, a series of Smiley®World characters will appear at MTR stations starting 11 February. Through this Platform Safety campaign, MTR hopes to remind passengers to "Mind the gap" and "Step across carefully", thereby ensuring safe and pleasant journeys for all passengers.
